These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the online game Pathogen Wars and related services (the "Game" or "Services").

By accessing or using the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Game.

By creating an account or making purchases, you represent that:

• you meet the age requirement;
• you have legal capacity to enter into this agreement; and
• your use of the Game complies with applicable laws.

Access to the Game may be restricted in certain jurisdictions due to legal or regulatory requirements.

2. Description of the Game

Pathogen Wars is an online digital card strategy game that includes:

• single-player modes;
• online multiplayer battles;
• tournaments with in-game (non-cash) rewards;
• virtual currencies and digital items available for purchase.

The Game is provided for entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute gambling, betting, or financial services.

3. Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

Certain features require account registration. You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
• all activities under your account; and
• providing accurate information.

Guest mode may be available with limited functionality.

3.2 Account Security

You must immediately notify us of unauthorized access. We are not responsible for losses caused by compromised credentials outside our control.

4. Virtual Currency and Digital Items

The Game may include virtual currencies and digital items.

These items:

• are licensed, not sold;
• have no real-world monetary value;
• cannot be exchanged for real money;
• are non-transferable outside the Game.

We may modify availability, pricing, or characteristics of virtual items at any time.

Unused virtual currency may expire after extended account inactivity where permitted by law.

5. Purchases and Payments

5.1 Digital Content

All purchases relate to digital content delivered immediately.

By making a purchase, you:

• expressly consent to immediate performance; and
• waive any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights to the extent permitted by law.

All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by licensed third-party payment service providers ("PSPs").

We do not store full payment card details.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, PSPs, or card networks.

5.3 Transaction Monitoring and Limits

We may apply transaction limits, verification checks, or anti-fraud monitoring measures to protect users and the integrity of the Game.

We reserve the right to delay, refuse, or cancel transactions that appear suspicious or violate these Terms.

6. Randomized Digital Content

Some digital items may contain randomized elements.

You acknowledge that:

• probabilities and outcomes are determined by game mechanics;
• purchases do not guarantee specific results;
• these systems are designed for gameplay entertainment and are not gambling.

7. Tournaments and Rewards

Tournaments may award in-game virtual rewards only.

Rewards:

• are non-transferable;
• have no cash value;
• may be modified or discontinued.

Tournament participation is subject to fair-play rules.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• use cheats, exploits, bots, or unauthorized software;
• disrupt gameplay or servers;
• harass or abuse other players;
• attempt unauthorized access;
• trade accounts or items for real money;
• engage in fraud or illegal activity.

9. Anti-Fraud and Enforcement

We monitor activity to detect fraud, abuse, or violations.

We may:

• suspend accounts temporarily;
• permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations;
• remove virtual items obtained improperly.

Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion to protect the Game ecosystem.

10. Intellectual Property

All Game content is owned or licensed by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Game for personal entertainment.

11. Availability and Updates

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available."

We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages;
• our total liability arising from your use of the Game shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months or €100, whichever is greater.

Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• violations of these Terms;
• fraud or payment abuse;
• security or legal concerns.

Upon termination, access to the Game and virtual items may be lost.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

Courts of the United Kingdom have jurisdiction unless mandatory local consumer protections apply.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
